Freeport Downtown Vision (2022)
The Freeport Downtown Vision Plan was an effort by the Town Council, Freeport Economic Development Corporation (FEDC), and urban planning and design consultants, to understand the community’s vision for the downtown area.

Freeport Cultural Plan (2018)
The Freeport Cultural Plan is the result of a joint effort by the Town of Freeport and the Freeport Arts and Cultural Alliance to establish a roadmap for the arts and cultural development that is recognized as essential to the continued vibrancy of the community.

Complete Streets Policy (2020)
Freeport adopted this policy to promote pedestrian, bicycle, and public transportation travel and advance transportation infrastructure that provides safe travel accommodation for visitors, residents, and commuters of all ages and abilities.

Active Living Plan (2014)
The Freeport Active Living Plan provides a roadmap for achieving a wide variety of interrelated community goals with physical, policy, and programmatic recommendations for 8 activity centers.

2011 Comprehensive Plan
Freeport's most recent Comprehensive Plan revision was approved by the Town Council on February 8, 2011. The plan’s vision includes: making Freeport a desirable place to live, stewarding the environment, a strong and stable economy, meeting energy and transportation needs, and using infrastructure and services to plan for growth.
